Everything you need to know to prepare for the end of your lease.
- Complimentary pre-inspection
- You can schedule your complimentary pre-inspection at Acadiana Mazda 45 days before your lease maturity date. However, you can schedule your pre-inspection before the 45 days. Just be aware that the pre-inspection will expire after 60 days.
- The pre-inspection will provide:
- Evaluation of the wear and tear on your vehicle so you can anticipate potential lease-end charges.
- You with the next steps for your lease turn-in.
If you decide to return your current leased Mazda at lease-end, please contact us to arrange for the vehicle return. Here is what you need to do to prepare to turn in your vehicle:
- Remove all personal items.
- Place the owner’s manual in the glove box.
- Turn in both sets of keys.
- You are responsible for turning in your license plate to the DMV.
- Please notify your insurance company that your lease has ended.
You have the option to turn in your vehicle early. However, you may be charged an early termination fee. Please call the dealership and ask for the Sales Manager if you have any questions about your lease return date.
If you would like to purchase your Mazda, call us to learn more about your lease-end options and how you can purchase your leased vehicle. Most lease agreements contain a purchase option. Your agreement will explain the purchase price and terms. Many leases may also require you to pay a purchase option fee.
