Job Description
Automotive Service Technicians maintain, repair, and inspect cars, trucks and sport utility vehicles. Technicians must be familiar with all functions of a motor vehicle including engine, driveline, cooling, electrical, and air conditioning systems. A Technician must have good hand-eye coordination, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and effective processing and communication skills to be effective.

Job Duties

  • Diagnosing and repairing vehicles using hand tools, air tools, and electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Operating vehicle lifts, brake lathes, tire mounting and balancing machines, a/c recovery machines, and other vehicle repair equipment.
  • Testing of vehicle parts and operating systems for proper functionality.
  • Communicating with Advisors, Dispatcher, and Service Manager to ensure a proper diagnosis.
  • Performing repairs efficiently and thoroughly to promote customer satisfaction and repeat service business.
  • Maintain training levels and factory certification.
  • Keep work area clean and free of hazards.
  • Ensure that all documentation required is on or attached to repair orders.

Job Requirements
Technicians are required to spend long hours on their feet with a lot of time bending, straining, and working overhead. Technicians work in high heat and humidity in the summer and cold temperatures in the winter and at times are required to lift objects weighing in excess of 25 pounds. Technicians are also required to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard free work environment and be free of distraction at all times. Because the Automotive industry is constantly advancing, up to date training is a must. Candidates must have a valid and clear drivers license and one-year minimum experience in automotive repair.

Job Duties

  • Perform minor and major repairs on trucks

  • Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks

Job Description
Service Advisors/Writers are the foundation for building relationships with customers by providing a positive experience in the Service Department. Advisors collect customer, vehicle, and contact information along with customer concerns to create repair orders to be dispatched to Technicians for vehicle repair. A Service Advisor must have good communication skills to be able to fully understand customer concerns and relay this information to Technicians to properly and efficiently diagnose and repair vehicles. When a diagnosis is made, the Advisor prepares a cost and time estimate for vehicle repair for customer approval. After approval or verification of warranty or service contract coverage, the vehicle is then repaired. After repairs are completed, the Advisor contacts the customer and reviews all repairs and related costs involved and arranges pick up of the vehicle.

Job Duties

  • Greet and collect customer and vehicle information including services required and any customer concerns.
  • Prepare repair orders by identifying symptoms, problems or concerns with the vehicle given by the customer.
  • Verify warranty or service contract information through the manufacturer database, customer contract documents, or dealer management system.
  • Maintain customer rapport by explaining cost estimates, providing repair status and providing completion time estimates.
  • Take incoming service calls to answer customer questions, provide estimates, verify warranty and service contract coverage, and schedule service appointments.
  • Arrange alternate transportation such as rental vehicles or shuttle service.

Qualifications
Service Advisors are required to have basic knowledge of vehicle systems and operation in order to relay customer concerns to Technicians for proper vehicle repair. Strong communication skills are a must in order to effectively collect this information. A strong focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork is key to providing an excellent customer experience. Basic mathematical skills are required to provide accurate cost estimates in this position. A minimum of one year of experience in the Automotive industry is required for this position.

Job Description
We are looking to hire a skilled Lube Technician to maintain and service customer’s vehicles. Candidate must have strong mechanical skills and adhere to all safety procedures and practices. The candidate must also be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and demonstrate excellent time management skills.

Job Duties

  • Performing oil changes
  • Replacing cabin, fuel, air, oil filters, and tires
  • Performing tire rotations to ensure even tire wear
  • Testing tire pressure and adding air as needed
  • Thoroughly inspecting customers’ vehicles for oil leaks
  • Making recommendations for additional servicing based on initial vehicle inspections
  • Communicating with Service Advisor and Manager about vehicle maintenance
  • Applying lubricants to the moving parts of vehicle engines

Body Technician

Body Technician

Summary
Repairs damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards.

Essential Duties

  • Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards.
  • Checks parts against estimate and ensures proper parts are ordered and received.
  • Prepares vehicles for body repair work.
  • Notifies management of any additional repairs needed.
  • Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time.
  • Maintains tools and equipment in a proper state of repair.
  • Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
  • Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners and other hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management.
  • Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles.
  • Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.
  • Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner. Maintains annual safety training standards.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Experience
